Osimhen Urges Galatasaray to Stay Focused In Title Race
Victor Osimhen has urged Galatasaray to stay focused as they push for a third straight Turkish Super Lig title.
Galatasaray came from behind to secure a 2-1 win over Alanyaspor at the GAIN Park Stadium on Sunday, putting them seven points ahead of rivals Fenerbahce, who have a game in hand.
Osimhen scored the decisive goal, helping his team strengthen their position at the top of the table. The 26-year-old emphasized the importance of maintaining momentum as the season nears its end.
“First, I want to congratulate the team and thank our fans. We wouldn’t have had the energy to get these three points without them,” Osimhen said.
“We struggled in the first half but improved in the second. Every match from now until the end will be like a final, and we have to keep pushing.”
Osimhen has been in top form this season, scoring 22 goals and providing five assists in 29 appearances for Galatasaray.
