Igho Ogbu Confident Super Eagles Can Finally Beat Rwanda in Kigali

Super Eagles defender Igho Ogbu is confident that the team can break their winless streak against Rwanda in Kigali.
The Super Eagles have struggled to secure a victory over the Amavubi in their last three meetings in Kigali. Éric Chelle’s squad faces the pressure of needing a win to strengthen their chances of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Ogbu, who plays for Slavia Prague, remains positive about the team’s chances. He believes that with the right preparation, they can deliver a strong performance.
“I believe we can do it. We just need to work hard in training, and everything will fall into place on matchday,” Ogbu said in an interview with Ojb Sports.
The match is scheduled for Friday at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali, with kickoff set for 5 pm Nigerian time.

Amorim Says Man U Were Not Aggressive Enough in 1-0 Defeat to Chelsea

Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has admitted his team lacked the needed edge in the final third during their 1-0 defeat to Chelsea on Friday night. Marc Cucurella’s first-half header, set up by Reece James, was the difference at Stamford Bridge, handing United their 18th loss of the season and leaving them sitting 16th in the league.
Speaking after the match, Amorim said his side started well but just didn’t show enough aggression where it mattered most. “We approached the game the right way,” he said. “We had some bad luck and lost focus at key moments. We tried to press and push forward but just couldn’t finish.” Despite the loss, Amorim insisted the team was competitive. Up next, they’ll face Tottenham in the Europa League final on Wednesday.
