Ryan and Adam Thomas Launch New ITV Game Show “99 to Beat”
Brothers Ryan and Adam Thomas have embarked on a new venture, hosting ITV’s latest Saturday-night entertainment show, “99 to Beat.” The program features 100 contestants engaging in quirky and humorous games, all vying for a £25,000 prize. The Thomas brothers describe their presenting style as reminiscent of The Chuckle Brothers, emphasizing lightheartedness and sibling camaraderie.
In “99 to Beat,” participants face a series of simple yet entertaining challenges, with the primary rule being: don’t come last. Each round eliminates the last-place contestant, narrowing the field until a single winner emerges to claim the cash prize. This format ensures that anyone can win, adding to the show’s universal appeal.
The Thomas brothers, known for their roles in popular soaps like “Emmerdale” and “Coronation Street,” have expressed their excitement about this new endeavor. They view “99 to Beat” as the ultimate family show, blending fun, competition, and heartfelt moments. Their transition from acting to hosting marks a significant milestone in their careers, allowing them to showcase their dynamic chemistry and infectious energy.
However, the production has faced challenges. During filming, three contestants were hospitalized due to adverse reactions during a haystack challenge. The Thomas brothers addressed these incidents, acknowledging that injuries are an inherent risk given the physical nature of the tasks. They assured that contestant welfare remains a top priority and that safety protocols have been reinforced to prevent future occurrences.
Despite these setbacks, “99 to Beat” has been positively received, with viewers appreciating its family-friendly content and the engaging dynamic between the Thomas brothers. The show offers a fresh take on the game show genre, combining elements of competition with lighthearted entertainment.
The family of the late South Korean actress Kim Sae-ron has announced a press conference scheduled for March 27, 2025. They intend to present evidence alleging that actor Kim Soo-hyun was involved in a relationship with Kim Sae-ron during her minor years.
According to Bu Ji-seok, the family’s legal representative, the press conference will address the timeline of the alleged relationship. It will also outline legal actions against the dissemination of false information targeting the bereaved family.
The controversy began when the Garosero Research Institute claimed that Kim Sae-ron and Kim Soo-hyun had a six-year relationship starting in November 2015, when she was still a minor.
In response, Kim Soo-hyun’s agency, Goldmedalist, denied these allegations. Gold Medalist stated that the two were not romantically involved during her underage years.
Further complicating the situation, Kim Soo-hyun’s agency has filed a lawsuit. The lawsuit is against Kim Sae-ron’s family and Garosero Research Institute operator Kim Se-eui. They are accusing them of blackmail and violating laws related to the dissemination of compromising material.

During a recent interview on Beat FM, Zlatan called out fans who take to celebrity page to beg. The singer shared that they always beg without showing any action of hard work.
“I don’t mean to be petty but I know how people move on the internet. It’s like these people are just there from morning till night and they are under your activities wanting giveaways. I don’t know the reason but they always want.”
“Just this afternoon I was just thinking to myself if these people are just online jumping from one celebrity to the other. I can’t talk too much sha before they remind me that I was once there.”
