Mr Macaroni Disagrees with Call to Unfollow Celebrities Who Don’t Speak Up on National Issues
Nigerian Comedian Mr Macaroni shares his insights and addresses the viral protest between citizens and celebrities.
The protest is to push citizens to unfollow celebrities who do not speak up on the country’s challenges.
A random X user called out to the citizens to follow this protest stating celebrities do not deserve their follow apart from Me Macaroni.
Despite the act of loyalty and respect from fan, the comedian shared his disagreement with the approach.
“I would never endorse a post like this! Please do not ask celebrities to make sacrifices the people themselves are not ready to make.
“Celebrities are citizens like you. If the majority of the people are quiet, why should we blame celebrities?”
