Ayra Starr Says Woman Commando Is One of the Few Songs She Truly Loves
Afrobeats star Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, known as Ayra Starr, has admitted that she usually doesn’t like her songs after recording them. Ayra shared that every time she listens to her music, she feels it could have been better.
However, she said her hit track Woman Commando with Anita and Coco Jones stands out as an exception. According to her, it sounds perfect every time she hears it.
“I usually don’t like my songs after recording. I don’t even know why — I just feel like they could be better, so I keep pushing until it’s perfect,” Ayra said in an interview with Rolling Stone. “But the Woman Commando was different. I knew I went crazy on that one. It’s dope.”
Ayra Starr has previously mentioned that she enjoys listening to artists like SZA, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, and Rema in her free time.
