Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina has earned a spot in the FA Cup Team of the Round. This happened after his solid performance in the quarter-final win against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Aina played the full match as Forest edged past Brighton with a 4-3 victory on penalties under Nuno Espirito Santo’s guidance. The full-back put in a strong defensive shift, making five clearances, seven recoveries, and winning eight ground duels.
The Nigerian international also stood out with his attacking play, completing the most dribbles in the game with five. His teammate Nikola Milenkovic was also named in the selection. Nottingham Forest will now prepare for a tough semi-final clash against Manchester City next month.
