Dave Coulier, renowned for his role as Uncle Joey in the beloved television series “Full House,” has been declared cancer-free just five months after his diagnosis with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

In October 2024, Coulier, 65, began experiencing persistent respiratory issues, which led to a diagnosis of stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma, a type of blood cancer affecting the lymphatic system. He commenced an intensive chemotherapy regimen, completing six rounds by February 2025. Throughout this period, Coulier faced significant challenges, including neuropathy, nausea, dizziness, and profound fatigue. He candidly shared that during his fifth round of chemotherapy, he was mentally prepared for any outcome.

Coulier’s wife, Melissa, was a steadfast pillar of support throughout his ordeal, serving as his primary caregiver and providing unwavering emotional strength. The couple also received joyous news during this challenging time—their son, Luc, and his wife, Alex, welcomed a baby boy on March 27, 2025, making Coulier a grandfather. He expressed excitement about this new chapter in his life, looking forward to spending time with his grandson.

His “Full House” co-stars were equally supportive. Candace Cameron Bure celebrated Coulier’s recovery on social media, sharing photos from their time on the show and expressing her happiness. John Stamos, known for his close friendship with Coulier, stood by him throughout his treatment, even donning a bald cap in solidarity during Coulier’s chemotherapy sessions.
