Osimhen Says Future Plans Will Wait as He Shines at Galatasaray
Victor Osimhen has said he’ll wait until the end of the season before deciding where his future lies.
Currently on loan at Turkish giants Galatasaray for the 2024/25 season, the Nigerian striker has been in fine form, netting his 21st league goal in their 2-0 victory over Samsunspor on Friday.
Galatasaray are eager to keep him permanently, but the €75 million release clause could make things complicated.
Meanwhile, top Premier League clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal are keeping a close eye on the 26-year-old.
Speaking to Galatasaray’s official website, Osimhen shared how much he’s enjoying his time at the club and expressed deep appreciation for the support he’s received.
“There’s always talk about my future, but I’m focused on the present,” he said. “Galatasaray has been amazing to me and my family since day one. I’m grateful to the fans and everyone at the club.”
He added that he’s committed to helping the team fight for their fifth star and will only decide on his next move once the season wraps up.
“Whatever happens, Galatasaray will always have a special place in my heart,” he said.
