Joe Cole Says PSG Can Win the Champions League This Season

Former Chelsea star Joe Cole has thrown his support behind Paris Saint-Germain to go all the way and lift the UEFA Champions League trophy this season.
Sharing his thoughts after PSG booked a spot in the semi-finals, Cole praised the club’s new direction and team structure, saying the French side is finally on the right track to conquer Europe.
PSG edged past Aston Villa with a 5-4 win on aggregate, having secured a 3-1 victory in the first leg before losing 3-2 in the return match at Villa Park.
Next up for Luis Enrique’s side is a semi-final clash against either Arsenal or Real Madrid, while Barcelona—who knocked out Dortmund—will take on Inter Milan or Bayern Munich.
Speaking on TNT Sports, Joe Cole reflected on PSG’s past struggles in the competition and commended the club’s transformation.
He said the team no longer relies solely on star power but now plays as a unit, which gives them a real shot at the title.
“They’re on the right track,” he said. “I really believe they can win it this time. I’m all in.”
