“It’s a Mockery” – Seun Kuti Criticizes Yoruba Kings Over Disregard for Ancestral Beliefs
Popular Nigerian Singer Seun Kuti claims that Yoruba Kings do not believe in the traditional gods. He shares that believing in the gods is part of the essence of the Yoruba land and expresses his disappointment.
“Being Yoruba is not a festival, Fanfare in the midst of misery, joy in the face of poverty, and glamour in the presence of ignorance.”
“90 percent of Yoruba kings don’t believe in Yoruba gods yet they sit on Yoruba thrones and make a mockery of what it means to be Yoruba.”
Popular singer Demi Lovato reunites with the Jonas Brothers for Camp Rock 3. The singer was seen in a bronze dress standing between the three brothers.
