“I Can’t Handle That” – Osimhen Rejects Idea of Joining Fenerbahçe
Victor Osimhen has addressed the growing rumours about a possible move to Fenerbahçe, making it clear he won’t be playing for the Turkish side—or any other club in Istanbul. Despite strong links suggesting the Nigerian forward could join Jose Mourinho’s new team, the former Lille star revealed that switching between rival clubs in the same city would be too much for him to handle mentally and emotionally.
Osimhen, who spent last season on loan at Galatasaray, said the intense passion and pressure from fans in Turkey is even higher than what he experienced in Italy while playing for Napoli. And that, he admits, is not something he wants to go through again. He explained that while he understands the competitive nature of football, moving from one big Istanbul club to another would leave him drained.
His words have now ended any talk of a potential move to Fenerbahçe. Despite his stellar form at Galatasaray—scoring 37 goals and providing 8 assists in 41 appearances—he’s not rushing into his next move. Top European clubs including Manchester United, Chelsea, and Juventus are also keeping a close eye on him, but Osimhen is taking his time to make the right decision.
Former Liverpool player, Jamie Carragher, speaks on Arsenal’s next match and claims that their game against Aston Villa will be challenging and described it as a test for the team to see how well they perform.
“Arsenal have looked the best team in the league by a long way so far this season, but Man City are still only five points behind.
There’s a long way to go and Arsenal will need to keep their heads! It could be tested tomorrow against Aston Villa!!”
Former Manchester United player, Jesse Lingard, has revealed that he has mutually agreed to leave FC Seoul and his contract will end. It is reported that he will leave next week.
It can be noted that the footballer joined in February 2024 and has made 66 appearances since then, scoring 18 goals.

When comparing players, he shared that: “When Saka is on it, he looks unplayable,” however he also stated that even with Salah’s stature, he is strong.
He has got the strength like Mohamed Salah. He is small in frame and size when you look at him, but do you ever see him get pushed off the ball?
“You don’t really see people take the ball off him or put him on his arse. He is a strong little guy.”
