“It Just Wasn’t Working” — 2Face Breaks Silence on Separation from Annie
Popular Nigerian singer 2Face has spoken on his decision and reason for separating from his ex-wife, Annie Idibia.
During a recent interview, the singer revealed that both of them gave their best to the marriage, but it still wasn’t enough.
“I think both of us gave it our best. And why we’re not together today is not something I’m going to talk about publicly.
Me and her have our own understanding. She’s amazing, it just wasn’t working anymore. Something we once had is no longer there — that’s why I said I won’t talk about it here.”
The Love Island USA Season 8 cast has reunited ahead of the show’s highly anticipated reunion.
The reunion is scheduled to air on August 31, 2026, on Peacock, with Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen returning as co-hosts. The reunion was filmed on August 10 at Universal Studios, with the cast arriving for filming and fans getting a first look at their reunion appearances.

Nigerian TikTok influencer Peller makes headlines for his vows to his wife, Jarvis, at their white wedding, which was held on August 1, 2026. The couple had previously announced the date ahead of their wedding.
The influencer added in his vows “We are one. Whatever is mine is yours. I promise to do 50/50 with you; I don’t care what people say.”
Fans were left in awe of the couple and shared how their love appears genuine despite the content and jokes they often make online.
Nigerian music executive Soso Soberekon offers Peter Okoye ₦500 million if he beats his brother, Paul Okoye, in a boxing match.
It can be noted that the music executive wrote out the offer on his phone and simply put it out “₦500 Million Naira to fight your twin in a boxing match.”
