“I Was Broke and Homeless” – Uriel Oputa Opens Up About Dark Days in Lagos
Ex Big Brother Naija Star, Uriel Oputa, recalled her early and homeless days in Lagos before her fame.
The reality star took to social media to share her story and revealed that she lived in a rental for 150,000 per night and was unsure of how she will keep up with payment.
“In November, I sold my car. I had no plans of coming back to Nigeria. My mum had just been diagnosed with something new, and I was preparing to move to London for two years to take care of her. I gave up everything. My car. My apartment. My Lagos routine. I left it all behind. But by December, everything changed.
“My brother told me to go back to Lagos. I was confused, heartbroken, and honestly had no direction. I had nowhere to stay and no plan. I ended up in a shortlet apartment paying ₦150,000 per day. I didn’t know how I was going to pay for it. But somehow, I did.”
Big Brother Naija housemate Abi speaks on her decision to join the reality TV show and reveals that her husband was initially against it.
She shared on the show “When my husband heard I was coming to the show, he actually fought with me, asking what I was going to do there. Initially, he didn’t support me,” she said.
She added that she remained determined despite her husband’s concerns and wanted to enjoy the experience.
Nigerian singer Rema makes headlines after meeting up with disc jockey and billionaire daughter, Florence Otedola.
The pair had dinner in London and sparked reactions, with some fans speculating there could be romance between them.
Florence shared on her social media “Cheeky London link up with @heisrema before life gets busy again. Dinner on him…he makes more money than me.”
Meanwhile, Rema captioned his post with a lyric from his song “Big Body I Like Dem Thick.”
Davido speaks on his twins and shares that he will not be bringing them to Nigeria yet, revealing his reason why.
“My twins will come to Nigeria once our house is finished, so they can live like the kings and queens they are. My wife and I just purchased a new mansion in Atlanta, and we are moving in next week.”
It can be noted that the singer and his wife welcomed the twins a few years ago. While they have not publicly shared the twins online, fans continue to celebrate them and respect the family’s decision to keep them private.
