PSG’s Luis Enrique Slaps Chelsea’s Joao Pedro After Chelsea’s Club World Cup Win
Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique appeared to lose his cool after PSG’s 3-0 loss to Chelsea in the Club World Cup final at the MetLife Stadium. Chelsea, who many saw as underdogs heading into the match, stunned the French giants with a dominant first-half performance, as Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro found the net to seal the win.
But the drama didn’t end at the final whistle. Tensions boiled over when Joao Pedro clashed with PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma. In the heat of the moment, Enrique got involved in the scuffle and seemed to strike Pedro, knocking him to the ground. The scene quickly escalated before one of Enrique’s assistants stepped in to hold him back, while Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca rushed to pull his players away from the confrontation.
