Nigerian singer, Speed Darlington makes bold move as he files a defamation lawsuit against National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, NAPTIP.

It can be recalled that the singer was declared wanted by NAPTIP, after he failed to appear when summoned for investigation.

However, the singer makes a U turn as he files a case against the organization for defamation, he claimed that they caused a damage to his reputation.

₦2.5 million is what I charge for my appearance. You want to pay me ₦2.5 million plus round-trip tickets for me and my PA to come? Because I call that appearance.”

The singer then added “There is no crime. All I did was try to claim it. You have no evidence. You have nothing. So, my coming here is a waste of my time.”

It can be noted that the singer took to social media asking for a graphic designer to create a flyer, which later turned into a challenge that many criticised, stating it undervalued creatives.

Moses Bliss has now issued an apology, saying “I sincerely apologize to every graphic designer who felt disrespected or undervalued… that was never my intention.”

He added “The goal was to give creatives a platform to showcase their work, not to undermine their value.”
