Kelly Clarkson Cancels Las Vegas Shows to Take Care of Family
Kelly Clarkson has hit pause on her Las Vegas residency, choosing to step away from the stage to focus on what matters most right now which is her family. The pop star recently announced that all of her scheduled shows in August at Caesars Palace have been postponed.
The decision comes after her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, fell seriously ill. Clarkson, who shares two children with him, explained that she needs to be there for her kids during this tough period. She took to Instagram to explain the situation, saying that while it was a hard choice to make, her family must come first.
This isn’t the first time her Vegas run has been interrupted. Just last month, she was forced to cancel her opening weekend shows due to vocal strain. Between personal challenges and health setbacks, Clarkson’s residency, titled Studio Sessions, has faced multiple bumps along the way.
Fans who already bought tickets now have two options, they can either wait for the newly scheduled dates in 2026 or request a refund. Caesars Palace and ticketing platforms are already working with fans to handle the changes.
