Bright Chimezie Questions Today’s Artists: “Will You Be Proud of Your Music in 40 Years?”
Nigerian singer, Bright Chimezie, has expressed concern over the content and lyrics of songs being released today.
During a recent interview, the veteran singer reflected on music and spoke about how important it was during his time. He then compared it to the present day and questioned whether today’s artists would be proud of their music years later.
“These days, I ask these boys, ‘The things that are coming out of your mouth, by the time your music stays up to 40 years, can you sit back with your children, see yourself, and be proud of yourself?”
