Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has emphasized that providing quality healthcare is a fundamental priority for his administration. He reassured residents that public healthcare delivery remains a top concern.

Speaking in Ede, Osun State, during the commissioning and distribution of modern medical equipment donated by International Hope Canada, Adeleke, represented by Deputy Governor Kola Adewusi, highlighted the importance of a healthy population for the state’s socio-economic growth.

“To this end, we have embarked on various initiatives to strengthen our healthcare system, and today’s event is a testament to our commitment. Quality healthcare services are a cornerstone of our administration. We recognize that a healthy population is vital for the socioeconomic development of our state.

“The commissioning and distribution of these state-of-the-art medical devices represent a significant investment in the future of our healthcare infrastructure. These advanced tools will enable our healthcare professionals to provide more accurate diagnoses, better treatments, and improved patient care.

“Furthermore, I want to reassure all the residents of Osun State that our administration will continue to prioritize healthcare through continuous investment in infrastructure, training, and welfare of our medical personnel,” Adewusi stated.

State Health Commissioner Jola Akinola added that the administration has been implementing various initiatives to ensure residents maintain good health.
