Amorim struggles to win back Man United players after poor start to the season
Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim is under increasing pressure as questions grow over his tactics following the team’s 3-0 defeat to Manchester City at the Etihad.
Reports suggest that some senior players are becoming frustrated with Amorim’s insistence on sticking to his preferred 3-4-3 formation, even when it doesn’t seem to suit the squad. The lack of flexibility has left parts of the dressing room confused, with a feeling that the manager is asking them to play a system they are not built for.
The former Sporting Lisbon coach, now 40, has managed just one win so far this season, a narrow victory over Burnley secured by a Bruno Fernandes penalty at Old Trafford. With results failing to improve and doubts growing inside the camp, Amorim faces a tough battle to hold on to the trust of his players and keep his job at Old Trafford.
Liverpool have released a list of players who are confirmed to leave the club this summer.
The list includes star players Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson, and Ibrahima Konaté. While some players are leaving, others have been offered new contracts.
The players who have been offered fresh terms include Kyle Kelly, Afolami Onanuga, Oliver O’Connor, Lucas Pitt, Ben Trueman, Matthew Wright, Prince Cisse, and Keyrol Figueroa.
Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has urged Ademola Lookman to consider a move to Galatasaray.
It can be noted that Lookman recently completed a transfer to Atlético Madrid, and since then, many European clubs have shown interest in the player.
Osimhen then shared an encouraging message to the player, stating that he would be welcome at Galatasaray.
“We are waiting for you at Galatasaray. Come and be a part of this family.”
