Singer Kizz Daniel Responds to Claims of Collecting Payment Without Performing

Published

on

Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel responds to allegations regarding his absence at an event after reportedly collecting advance payment.

A report had claimed that the singer was to refund $200 after missing his performance. However, his team released a statement dismissing the allegations as false. They explained that Kizz Daniel could not attend the event because the organizers failed to provide visas and flights for him and his team.

“We state unequivocally that our Artist is a professional who upholds his contractual obligations and makes extraordinary sacrifices to ensure his fans worldwide enjoy his craft. By virtue of the duly executed Performance Agreement dated 27th July 2022, we were engaged to perform at the Afrobeats Meets Berlin concert on 24th September 2022.”

According to the statement: “The promoter, Kejuro Media & Entertainment, failed woefully to fulfill its fundamental obligations under the Agreement, including the procurement of visas and flights for our Artist and his team. Unsurprisingly, the event did not hold because it was cancelled by the promoter for reasons never communicated to us nor connected to our Artist.”
