Mourinho Says He Is Still Chelsea’s Greatest Manager
Benfica manager Jose Mourinho has hinted that he still holds the title of Chelsea’s most successful coach.
Speaking ahead of Benfica’s Champions League clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, Mourinho reminded reporters of his legacy at the London club. The Portuguese tactician, who guided the Blues to three Premier League titles as well as domestic cups, believes his record stands unmatched.
“Chelsea is a winning machine. Over the last couple of years, they’ve had a spell without trophies, but before me they had won, then my team kept winning, and later came new managers and new silverware, including European glory,” Mourinho said. “But until someone wins four Premier League titles at Chelsea, I’m still the biggest.”
Coventry City manager, Frank Lampard, speaks on team player and states how the player’s stance will help the team get into the Premier League.
The player is revealed to be Onyeka who he spoke about in the recent interview.
“He brings a different quality and probably a different profile to the midfield players we have.
“As I say, the profile is slightly different and I think that helps us in terms of the options and the competition in the middle of the park for us.”
