Arsenal Injury Update: Arteta Speaks on Gabriel, Hincapié and Others Ahead of West Ham Clash
Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has given the latest injury news as his side prepares to face West Ham on Saturday.
Arteta spoke about Gabriel Magalhães, who was taken off late in the 2-0 win over Olympiakos on Wednesday. While the Brazilian’s fitness is being monitored, the manager suggested there is no major cause for concern. “We’ll have to wait and see after training. We haven’t done anything today, but I’m not too worried about him,” he explained.
On new signing Piero Hincapié, Arteta confirmed that the defender will not be ready for the West Ham game but should be available after the international break.
“He’ll be ready after the break. We’ll try to speed things up, but this one comes too soon for him,” Arteta said.
Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus, and Noni Madueke are still unavailable as they continue their recovery from injuries.
