Nigerian Singer Pheelz Opens Up on Growth, Announces New EP
Nigerian singer, Pheelz, revealed in a letter and hinted at a new EP dropping in March 2026.
He took to social media, X, and shared how 2025 was a tough year for him but stated that now he will come back better than ever. “The main thing I’ve realized is how much the music matters… somewhere along the way I lost sight of that.”
“It’s a reset and a realignment,” he writes. “I have so much to give out and I’m not going to hold it anymore.”

Omah Lay Opens Up About Challenges in the Music Industry
Nigerian singer Omah Lay shares the challenges he has faced in the music industry.
He shared that one challenge he has faced is that Lagos is dominated by Yorubas. Since he is from Port Harcourt, he has had to be able to break into Lagos to connect with people there through music.
“Afrobeats is mainly Lagos. It is mainly Yorubas. Fela Kuti is the pioneer, we all know that and he is Yoruba. I am from Port Harcourt and you have to break into Lagos. There are only two people from PH that you know; Burna Boy and me,” he said.
“It got to a point I am like, you know what? I am going to take my time and look at my family and fans; people who really love me, I am going to stay there. The rest of you, the rest of the world, don’t love me. F**k off. That is it,” he added.

He expresses frustrations over the sudden increase and shared that it is such a financial drain to many people.
“Many fools are saying we cannot blame President Tinubu for our fuel going up, that we should blame America, Israel and Iran. That is a fat lie, fat lie. We are an oil-producing country. We have the crude oil here. They’ve spent our money on refineries. 210 trillion is still missing from our oil money.”
He then added that this transportation increase can increase the price of other things such as food.
