South African singer Tyla removes Lagos from her concert tour amid the backlash. The singer shared posts about her upcoming world tour, and upon review, Lagos, Nigeria, had been removed from the list.

It can be noted that Tyla had earlier announced that she would be coming to Nigeria but received backlash from many Nigerians following reports of xenophobic attacks in South Africa.

The singer later posted the updated list of cities she will be performing in and quietly removed Nigeria without making any statement. Many Nigerians reacted to the update, with some expressing satisfaction over the decision.

Nigerian TV host Afolabi Brown’s husband speaks on their relationship and the early years of their marriage, as well as the challenges they went through.

He said “The first three years of my marriage, there used to be a lot of yelling. But after five years, I realised I could trust my wife with everything.”

Nigerian media personality Daddy Freeze has spoken out on the ongoing controversy surrounding Tyla’s concert in Lagos.

He questioned why Nigerians are directing their anger at the singer when she has done nothing wrong.

“This is a bit of hypocrisy. Why are Nigerians holding Tyla accountable? The phones many of you are using to make these posts have MTN SIM cards in them, and many people watched DSTV last night.”
