Yul Edochie Defends Mbaise Community, Dispels Negative Stereotypes
Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has taken to social media to defend the Mbaise community against widespread negative stereotypes.
Addressing the unfounded notion that people should fear those from Mbaise, Edochie urged an end to such misconceptions.
In an Instagram post, Edochie shared his personal experiences, emphasizing the kindness and warmth he has consistently encountered from Mbaise individuals.
He recounted the exceptional hospitality he received while filming in the area, expressing his gratitude for their welcoming nature.
Edochie wrote, “I don’t know who started this ‘Fear Mbaise people’ idea, and why, it should stop. I must say this, all the Mbaise people I’ve met in my life have been so good to me. When I filmed in Mbaise, the hospitality I received was awesome. Mbaise people have been very good to me. I say it everywhere.”
By sharing his positive experiences, Edochie hopes to dispel the negative preconceptions about the Mbaise community and highlight their true, hospitable nature.
TV personality Morayo Brown and her husband made headlines after they had a public disagreement on their podcast while discussing infidelity in marriage.
When asked about women encouraging other women to cheat, her husband said “If you want to preach it to women to cheat on their husbands, you can do so; don’t let me come and discuss that here.”
He continued “We should allow women to be cheating? If you want to cheat, go and cheat. If you want to preach it to women to be cheating everywhere, you can go. Don’t let me come and start arguing that here. That’s not why I sat down on this.”
