White Money Claims Greater Music Success Abroad Than in Nigeria
Nigerian BBN star White Money has claimed that his music is more popular in other countries because his style is not well understood in Nigeria. Despite this, he insists that his passion for singing is natural and that he draws inspiration from the Holy Spirit. White Money, who gained fame for his cooking skills in the BBNaija house, emphasizes that while cooking is a love, music is his true talent.
White Money explained that music has always been a part of him, and he has been creating it for a long time. He passionately draws inspiration from his environment and personal experiences, making “conscious” music that avoids vulgar or demeaning lyrics. His goal is to tell stories through his songs without promoting negativity or depression. This positive approach encourages him to continue making music that resonates with his conscience.
Despite some Nigerians’ perceptions of him being limited to his cooking skills from the BBNaija house, White Money believes his brand has more potential internationally. He feels misunderstood in Nigeria and aims to take his brand global, encompassing his talents in cooking, music, and other endeavors.
