American actress Shannen Doherty, renowned for her roles in “Charmed” and “Beverly Hills, 90210,” finalized her divorce from Kurt Iswarienko just a day before her death at 53.
On July 12, Doherty signed documents to waive spousal support, agreeing to an uncontested dissolution of the marriage, which was settled without court involvement.
The paperwork was signed by Iswarienko on July 13, the day Doherty passed away following a prolonged battle with breast cancer.
Doherty and Iswarienko, who married in 2011, requested the termination of spousal support for both parties. This marked Doherty’s third marriage, following previous marriages to Ashley Hamilton and Rick Salomon.
Doherty’s publicist, Leslie Sloane, confirmed her passing, noting that the actress died surrounded by loved ones and her dog, Bowie.
Diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, Doherty revealed in 2017 that her cancer had returned and later shared that it had spread to her brain and bones.
Throughout her final years, Doherty documented her cancer journey, raising awareness and inspiring many with her courage and resilience.
