Former Provost of FCE Akoka Faces Public Outcry
Dr. Ademola Azeez, the former Provost of Federal College of Education, Technical Akoka in Lagos, was publicly escorted out of the institution amidst a chorus of chants from both staff and students, denouncing him as a thief.
This dramatic exit came after the school’s governing council demanded his resignation due to serious allegations against him.
Dr. Azeez is set to face investigations into various charges, including financial fraud, misuse of authority, and the alleged execution of fake contracts.
Additionally, he is accused of withholding unsigned certificates for students who had graduated over the past five years.
The campus community had organized a special event for August 16 to celebrate his departure with a party, complete with a festive atmosphere and themed clothing.

It was reported that bandits were seen in Kwara State and abducted six residents from Rukpete Village.
The incident was reported to have occurred on June 8 at about 11 p.m.
Sources revealed that seven people were initially taken, but an elderly man was later released, leaving six victims in captivity.
