“Supacell” Renewed for Second Season
Netflix has renewed “Supacell” for a second season after its successful debut in June. Created by Rapman and starring Tosin Cole, Adelayo Adedayo, and Eddie Marsan, the series follows five South Londoners with special abilities. Season 1 topped Netflix’s global TV list and stayed in the Top 10 for six weeks. Rapman, who has mapped out the story through Season 3, teased that Season 2 will explore the characters’ growth and the changed future hinted at in the pilot.
While details about Season 2’s plot and release date are still to come, Rapman is excited to continue the story, promising a deeper dive into the characters’ evolution. Fans will have to wait for further updates, but the renewal guarantees more of the captivating drama they enjoyed in the first season.
