May Yul-Edochie, the estranged wife of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, has shared her enthusiasm about her acting debut in Omoni Oboli’s upcoming thriller *WivesOnStrike 3: The Uprising*. On August 13, 2024, Omoni Oboli released the film’s trailer on Instagram, prompting May to express her excitement in the comments. She wrote, “I finally got to feature in a movie and it’s the UPRISING! A must-watch because it’s loaded.” Her comment received enthusiastic responses from fans, who eagerly anticipate the film’s release and offered words of encouragement.

May’s debut comes after her high-profile divorce from Yul Edochie in August 2023, citing adultery as the reason. The divorce was based on the 1970 Marriage Act, which prohibits polygamy. May also filed a ₦100 million lawsuit against Yul and his second wife, Judy Austin. The couple, married from 2004 to 2023, had four children, including their late son Kambilichukwu, who passed away in March 2023. Shortly after their loss, Yul announced his marriage to Judy Austin, further complicating their personal lives.
