Wizkid Reveals He Nearly Chose Football Over Music
Grammy-winning Afrobeats star Wizkid revealed that if his music career hadn’t taken off, he would have pursued football. The Nigerian artist expressed his love for the game and his admiration for the discipline it requires to succeed.
Wizkid, who was once part of his school’s football team, admitted that his impatience and dislike for early morning training sessions eventually pushed him toward music instead. “If I wasn’t doing music, I’d be playing football. I was really good and played on my school team,” he shared. Despite choosing a different path, Wizkid emphasized his enduring respect for football and the dedication it demands.
Additionally, Wizkid mentioned his unique approach to security, choosing not to travel with bodyguards. Instead, he relies on his close-knit management team, whom he considers family.

Nigerian actress Ruth Kadiri speaks on the increase in the cost of living in Nigeria and stated how families are now struggling in the country and many have started struggling with basic feeding.
The actress lamented the neglect of the people and how serious things are in the country.
“The cost of tomatoes is now so high. Like, somebody will use ₦5,000 to buy pepper and tomato. Like, ₦5,000. While somebody else out there is probably earning ₦25,000, ₦30,000, ₦40,000, or ₦50,000. But you are only using ₦5,000 to buy tomatoes and peppers.”

Nigerian singer Ruger announces that he will be taking a break from music due to a case he is trying to resolve with his ex-girlfriend.
A statement was released stating some of the things the singer is going through and why he needs his break.
“Ruger was caught up in a series of personal challenges after someone he dated decided to sue him for alleged ‘emotional distress’ and ‘damages.’”
