Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, better known by his stage name Asake, has now set a new record on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart, surpassing Burna Boy in the process.

With the release of his latest album, *Lungu Boy*, Asake managed to debut nine songs on this week’s chart, bringing his total number of chart entries to an impressive 50.

Among his current hits, the track *Active*, a collaboration with popular American rapper Travis Scott, has claimed the number-one spot on the chart.

This achievement further highlights Asake’s growing influence in the global music scene, particularly in the Afrobeats genre, where Nigerian artists have been making significant waves.

The Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart, which was introduced in April 2022, tracks the most popular Afrobeats songs in the United States.
