Elon Musk Condemns Biden Administration’s Pressure on Meta to Censor COVID Content
Elon Musk has criticized the Biden administration’s efforts to pressure Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, into censoring COVID-19 misinformation, calling it a “First Amendment violation.”
In a letter to the House Judiciary Committee, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg admitted that the White House repeatedly urged the platform to censor certain content during the pandemic, including humor and satire.
Zuckerberg expressed regret over the company’s compliance, emphasizing Meta’s commitment to resisting future censorship attempts.
The White House defended its actions as responsible public health measures.
It has been reported that Bola Ahmed Tinubu was absent at the commissioning of the Opebi-Mende Link Bridge, which took place on April 8, 2026.
However, Senate President Godswill Akpabio represented the President and carried out the ceremony.
As he commissioned the project, he stated “On behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I commission these projects.”

The commissioning will take place on April 8 and 9, 2026.

Motorists are advised to plan alternative routes and expect heavy traffic during these periods.
