Spyro admitted that while he found the experience pleasurable, it often left him feeling guilty and conflicted afterward.

“Every time I ‘fornicated,’ knowing I wasn’t married to the person, I felt like a part of me was lost,” Spyro shared.

After a period of self-reflection and prayer, the singer made the decision to cut ties with individuals and situations that led him into temptation.

He noted that it wasn’t an easy choice but felt it was necessary for his personal growth and peace of mind.

“I struggled with it for a while, but I kept praying for strength,” he wrote. “When the time was right, I severed all lingering connections that were drawing me back into that lifestyle.”

Spyro acknowledged that maintaining celibacy has been challenging, especially when faced with temptation while travelling or encountering people who made advances toward him.

He also mentioned that promoters in the industry often made things difficult for him, but over time, they have come to understand his stance.
