“He Loves Me” – Tiwa Savage Sparks Dating Rumours with Usher in London
Nigerian Afrobeats queen Tiwa Savage and American R&B legend Usher Raymond have set the internet buzzing after a recent appearance together in London sparked dating rumours. During Usher’s ‘Past Present Future’ tour stop at the O2 Arena, fans were thrilled when he brought Tiwa on stage as a surprise guest. The two performed her hit track ‘Somebody’s Son’, sending the crowd into a frenzy.
Later at the afterparty, things got even more interesting when the duo joined in on the 30 Seconds Challenge. In a now-viral video, Usher asked Tiwa to freestyle, and she playfully dropped a line saying, “He loves me,” which sent fans into overdrive with speculation. “I’m a little drunk! But it’s alright… Usher, are you drunk enough? Listen, he loves me,” she sang, teasing the crowd and fueling even more rumours about the nature of their relationship.
Social media lit up with reactions, with many wondering if there’s more going on between the two than just music. This isn’t the first time they’ve shared the stage. In 2022, Usher also brought Tiwa out during his performance at the Global Citizen Festival in Accra, Ghana. As of now, neither of them has confirmed or denied the rumours.
Nigerian actress Omowunmi Dada speaks on her relationship and shares that she ended her relationship due to their different beliefs. Her partner was Islamic, and she is Christian.
“I dated someone who, when I met him, was a Christian, and then sometime later Ramadan started and he said he was fasting. I said why, and he said because that is what would make his mom happy. Being a Muslim is what would make his mom happy. There and then, I knew I couldn’t be with him.
“I have nothing against Muslims; I have Muslim friends who are amazing people, by the way. But for the kind of family that I want to raise, I would love to raise my children the Christian way. I want to be able to hold hands with my husband in one faith, in unity as a family.”
Nigerian actor Olaide Olabanji speaks on Peter Obi’s election campaign and shows support for him.
The actor shared “If someone can destroy a country in three years, with ease, another person can make it better. Where bad people are, that’s where the progressive people are also at.
“Gowon ruled Nigeria for nine years, Gen. Murtala Muhammed repaired it in just six months.
“So if your tribe person can’t give you a better life, why not allow Peter Obi to give you a better future?”
VeryDarkMan, a social media activist, speaks on how Nigerians are starting to reflect Nigeria as a government.
Stating that Nigerians are now just as bad as the actions of the government, he shared “Yes, I have the movement to challenge the government 100%. The problem is the average Nigerian is just as bad as their leaders, and they will betray you either for money, tribalism, or religion.”
“Nigerians, a lot of them are wicked. Only vendor you go buy something, vendor no go deliver.”
