An emergency‏ senate meeting might be called by the University of Benin Vice Chancellor.

The so called ‘Peaceful’ protest is becoming rowdy and there is an urgent call for alarm within the institution.

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Benin makes a threat to shutdown the current academic session due to the protest carried out by the student.

The students are not ready to end the protest neither are they shaken by the threat. They are determined to continue unless they yield results.

A Kogi state lawmaker in the House of Representatives has threatened to sue a Nigerian resident in the UK named Adeola for making false claims about lawmakers’ salaries and allowances on social media.

Adeola alleged that lawmakers receive various substantial monthly allowances, including ₦2.5 million in basic salary, ₦7.5 million for furniture, and several others.

The lawmaker, Elder Leke Joseph Abejide, expressed his frustration, stating that such misinformation damages reputations and misleads the public. He urged the House to take a stand against these false accusations.

Relationship expert Blessing Okoro, known as Blessing CEO, has accused blogger Tunde Ednut of avoiding Nigeria for years due to past criminal activities, revealed during an Instagram live session.

She alleged Ednut’s involvement in prompting social media critic VeryDarkMan to ridicule celebrities. Okoro challenged Ednut to return to Nigeria, claiming she knows his background and will expose it if he continues enabling VeryDarkMan’s activities.

Meanwhile, VeryDarkMan recently faced arrest over accusations of defamation after claiming someone had scammed a victim of their life savings. He recounted his arrest and subsequent release, attributing his freedom to legal support from influential figures who intervened on his behalf. Despite ongoing challenges, VeryDarkMan pledged to persist in advocating for justice.
