The so called ‘Peaceful’ protest is becoming rowdy and there is an urgent call for alarm within the institution.

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Benin makes a threat to shutdown the current academic session due to the protest carried out by the student.

The students are not ready to end the protest neither are they shaken by the threat. They are determined to continue unless they yield results.

A Kogi state lawmaker in the House of Representatives has threatened to sue a Nigerian resident in the UK named Adeola for making false claims about lawmakers’ salaries and allowances on social media.

Adeola alleged that lawmakers receive various substantial monthly allowances, including ₦2.5 million in basic salary, ₦7.5 million for furniture, and several others.

The lawmaker, Elder Leke Joseph Abejide, expressed his frustration, stating that such misinformation damages reputations and misleads the public. He urged the House to take a stand against these false accusations.
