Nigerians May Face ₦5,000 per Litre Fuel Price, NLC Warns Amid Ongoing Crisis
The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has sounded an alarm that Nigerians might end up paying as high as ₦5,000 per litre for petrol.
NLC spokesperson, Benson Upah, highlighted the dire situation, expressing anger over the rising cost of living since the removal of the fuel subsidy.
Upah noted that despite public outcry, there has been little relief for Nigerians, and if the trend continues, the price of petrol could skyrocket.
The NLC is expected to hold meetings to decide on further actions to address the crisis.

Nigeria Can Become Africa’s Aviation Leader – Festus Keyamo
The Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, says Nigeria has everything needed to lead Africa’s aviation industry.
Speaking on Channels Television, he explained that Nigeria’s large population and high air traffic make it the best place for aviation growth in Africa.
“Nigeria is the most promising country in Africa for aviation, with the largest population and traffic. It is the best country to become an aviation hub,” he said.
Although the country still has infrastructure problems, Keyamo said Nigeria must attract private investors to fix them. He also announced plans to hold Nigeria’s first airshow to bring in global investors and promote the aviation sector.
Keyamo also talked about issues at airports, like passengers being harassed by security officers. He said his ministry had reported these problems to the National Security Adviser, who has provided 1,000 body cameras to monitor security officers’ activities.
Keyamo believes these steps will improve Nigeria’s aviation sector and attract more investment.
