Piers Morgan Praises Ronaldo After Win Over Scotland
British broadcaster Piers Morgan has showered praise on Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo after leading his team to a 2-1 comeback victory over Scotland in the Nations League on Sunday. Scotland initially took the lead with a goal from Scott McTominay, but Portugal responded with goals from Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes in Lisbon.
Reacting to the win, Morgan expressed his admiration for Ronaldo on X, highlighting the forward’s first goal against Scotland and his 901st career goal. Morgan called Ronaldo “incredible” and praised him for continuing to “write his own scripts.”
Ademola Lookman has praised Atlético Madrid following their 2–0 victory over Barcelona.
It can be noted that the match ended 2–0, with goals scored by Julián Álvarez and Alexander Sørloth.
Speaking in a recent interview, Lookman commended the team’s performance and unity “It was a good result. The performance of the team, especially not to concede here, shows the work everyone’s been doing and the togetherness.”
