Tragic Incident: Woman Fatally Mauled by Her Pitbulls in South Africa

In a harrowing incident, a 28-year-old woman from Bloemfontein, Namibia Square, South Africa, was mauled to death by her four pitbulls on Monday, June 17, 2024.

The brutal attack left the woman with devastating injuries to her lower body. Police arrived swiftly at the scene, but despite their efforts, Emergency Health Services personnel declared her dead upon arrival.

Authorities had to euthanize three of the pitbulls at the scene, while the fourth dog and its puppies were rescued and taken into care by the local SPCA.

The tragic event has shocked the community, sparking urgent calls for greater awareness and responsibility among dog owners to prevent such incidents in the future.

Fire Incident Reported at Murtala Muhammed Airport

It has been reported that fire occurred at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos (MMIA), Terminal 1. This fire incident occurred on Monday, 23rd of February, 2026.

Passengers at that terminal were spotted running away for safety after seeing the fire and the alarm.

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) released a statement and shared that no life was lost and people were saved and avoided danger.
