Living Godly, Not Worldly; Digging Deeper Than the Obvious

Published

on

Living like Christ, living holy, living godly — these are not new statements to us. Many of us believers actually want to live godly, but we think the obvious things are just worldly things, like lying, going to a nightclub, getting lost in the world.

No, living worldly is not obvious. For instance, there are reasons a lot of people want to go to these types of places. It can come from a feeling — these are the things we need to pray about and let go of, not just the places. The not-so-obvious things are the problems and roots.

Stop seeking validation. You are not missing out once you have accepted and settled this in your mind. You can live in peace with God. Remove the root and feeling to stand against the world.

From Endless Circles to Comfortable Squares: “The Journey Begins on Monday”

Published

Monday.

It’s the start of the official week—where we go to work, school, and resume our daily hustles to survive. Today, we’ll focus on giving you motivation, a reason to keep going.

Mondays always remind us that we’re about to resume our regular cycle—and I know, that can be tiring. But we stay in that circle to reach our destination. A destination that might eventually become a comfortable square or rectangle—harder to move, unlike a circle.

For many, weekends go by so fast. They feel like just two minutes, and then we’re back in the circle again. But just know this: Even if we’re tired of moving in circles, we have a destination to reach. So we must keep moving.

Mondays should be seen as a reminder—a fresh start. A nudge to keep going… so we can get to where we’re meant to be.

Navigating Your 20s: Living At Your Own Pace, With No Guidelines

Evolution of the 20s Generation

Being in your 20’s is different for every generation. Now I can’t exactly tell, but I’m sure our parents’ 20’s were filled with a lot of responsibilities like working, getting a job, and marriage. These things weren’t easy then, and they’re definitely not easy now but just a tad bit different in this generation.

Gen Z 20’s Experience

This generation’s 20’s is filled with the same things but there’s a difference. A lot of people have gotten the luxury of their parents, and a lot of people in their 20’s in Generation Z prioritize other things like love, money, friendships, and experience. Yes, many of them work, build a life for themselves, yet some people do not go through these same things.

Navigating your 20’s can be quite confusing and hard as many immediately enter a different stage of life. Some people can be working while others struggle to get a job, while there are even some trying to quit or do not want a job.

No Guideline: Different Stages

There can never be a guideline when you’re turning 20 or how to be 20. Everyone’s stage immediately gets different in your 20’s. It’s not the same as being a classmate in primary school or secondary; you can’t be the same. The only advice one can tell people in their 20’s is to be yourself, be in your own time. Do not look at others and try and imitate their lifestyle. It is normal to be in a different stage than your mates. Whether one likes it or not, you will keep being on a different stage from your age mates as you move forward.

Change and life differences with our mates is just more sensitive to people who are in their 20’s, but afterwards, trust that you’ll be comfortable in your own pace.
Cheers to being different and accepting your stage in life. It’s up to you to live how you want and not your mates.
