We All Know He’s Wack! No Talent!” – Wizkid Fires Davido
Singer Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has taken another jab at his fellow artist Davido.
This latest exchange comes on the heels of Davido teasing an upcoming collaboration with YG Marley, prompting Wizkid to make a pointed comment about the quality of the music being released.
Wizkid’s shade was evident when he remarked that certain artists were dropping “mid” songs again, a term used to describe music that lacks quality or originality.
It didn’t take long for fans to connect the dots, realizing that he was likely referencing Davido, with whom he had a heated altercation on X a few months prior.
In a post on his X account, Wizkid didn’t hold back, stating, “P*ssy boys dropping mids again!” This comment fueled the speculation about his intended target.
A user on X, identified as @CulturalVoice, chimed in, questioning whether Wizkid needed to beef with Davido for his songs to sell.
Wizkid quickly responded, asserting, “I don’t beef wack niggas! We all know he’s wack! No talent!”
This exchange highlights the ongoing rivalry between the two artists and adds to the intrigue surrounding their careers.
Fans are left wondering if this feud will continue to escalate or if the two will eventually put their differences aside.
Nigerian singer Simi has politely asked fans to stop referring to her daughter, Adejare, as “Duduke”. The nickname came after Simi released her emotional hit song Duduke in 2020, which she dedicated to her unborn child. When she and her husband Adekunle Gold welcomed their baby girl in June of that year, many fans started using the song title as a nickname for the child.
However, during a recent chat with VJ Adams, Simi shared that the name doesn’t sit well with her. She explained that Duduke wasn’t a real word—it was just a sound meant to mimic the rhythm of a heartbeat, capturing how her baby made her feel at the time.
“People call my daughter Duduke, which I don’t like,” she said with a laugh. “That’s not her name, and it doesn’t even mean anything. If it had a positive meaning, maybe I’d be okay with it. But it’s literally just a sound—du-du-ke, like my heart beating.” Despite her feelings, she understands the love behind it. “I know it’s coming from a good place, so I try not to react,” she added.

The actress takes to social media to explain what she means by encouragement can be bad. She states that it can seem as peer pressure.
“Sometimes telling someone they can do what they deeply believe they can’t isn’t encouragement, it is pressure. It can feel like guilt, like failure. It can even feel like depression. So my dear, if you say you can, then you can. If you say you can’t, then you can’t, and that’s okay. Sometimes, the best advice is no advice at all.”

However, the actress takes to her social media page to wish her ex-husband a happy birthday and revealed that they separated since April 2024.
