Portable Says Big Brother Naija Is No Longer Entertaining
Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has expressed his dissatisfaction with the current season of Big Brother Naija, stating that the show lacks the excitement it once had.
He pointed out that this year’s housemates have not generated the same level of buzz, despite the significant promotion surrounding the program.
In a bold move, the “Zazu” hitmaker took to his Instagram stories to voice his thoughts, saying, “Big Brother Naija just isn’t as enjoyable as it used to be.
None of these housemates have made a real impact.
They should just give me the N100 million prize, and I’ll bring the entertainment back!”
His comments highlight the increasing scrutiny of the show’s current format and cast, suggesting that viewers are craving more dynamic personalities and engaging storylines.
Portable’s tongue-in-cheek proposal to receive the grand prize underscores his belief that he could bring the spark back to the show, positioning himself as a potential entertainer who could reinvigorate the reality TV experience.
As Big Brother Naija Season 9 concluded with Kellyrae taking home the grand prize, Portable’s remarks may resonate with fans longing for the show’s former glory, igniting discussions about the future direction of this popular franchise.
Nigerian actor Tobi Makinde has reacted to rumours circulating about his relationship with Funke Akindele.
It can be noted that reports claimed the two were no longer on speaking terms and had grown apart.
However, the actor has dismissed the rumours, stating that nothing has changed between them and that social media is making assumptions.
“Nothing really happened between me and Madam Funke, and I am not aware of any fallout. Social media likes constructing their own script, and when they are done, they start looking for people to fill in the character they want.”

It can be noted that the rapper had earlier expressed her frustration on social media after discovering her card was stolen and used before it could be frozen.
She later revealed that the stores where the transactions occurred captured clear images of the suspects, and she intends to pursue justice.
“I got clear pictures of you all in Saks and in Apple. One thing about me is that I don’t play with my money. You all are going to jail,”.
