‘Not All Fulani Are Bandits’ — Portable Sends Message to Nigerians
Nigerian singer Portable has spoken out, stating that not all Fulani people are bandits and should not be classified as such.
He shared that many people already assume that every Fulani person is involved in illegal activities or could be a bandit.
“Please, let’s stop making mistakes by labelling all Fulani as bandits. Me, I am not included. Because you see a group of Fulani inside a bus, you will just conclude that they are bandits. They are not bandits. Some are Hausa, some are their families, Fulani. Some are rearing cows, some sell pepper, and others are into business.”
