Filmmaker Aniebiet Francis Advises Women: Don’t Wait for Karma Against Husband’s Side Chicks
Nigerian filmmaker Aniebiet Francis has sparked discussion with a recent Facebook post advising women not to rely on karma to handle their husbands’ infidelities. In her message, shared on Sunday, October 27, Aniebiet urged women to either confront the issue directly or move on, instead of cursing their husbands’ side chicks.
“Nothing will happen to your man’s side chick, stop cursing and swearing. Learn to treat things by yourself or let go,” she wrote, referencing a recent story about a former BBN housemate who had welcomed a second child with her husband.
Aniebiet emphasized her own approach, saying, “If you intentionally hurt me, I will become a prayer point in your family. I am a Christian that avenges my hurt.” She added that if karma exists, it might be “tired or very busy,” suggesting it may not act quickly enough for some situations.
Her post has generated mixed reactions online, with some supporting her bold stance while others questioned her perspective on forgiveness and faith.

It started after a rumour was shared that police arrest and take money from riders as a demand for high bribes, sometimes reaching ₦200,000, and seize motorcycles if not given.
The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, then addressed the claims online and stated in his statement that he disagreed that the rumour is true and stated, “The spread of misinformation only causes more harm than good. In this era, we can and must do better.”

This public holiday declaration was released in a statement by the secretary of the state, Tokunbo Talabi.
He then added that the holiday will provide as a day for the citizens to participate in the activities for the state milestone.

However, many state that what he posted and what he is saying contradict each other, and they accused him of sharing his own records to know if he was a corrupt leader.
