Davido Plans to Donate N300 Million to Orphanages and Youth for 32nd Birthday
Davido, the Afrobeats superstar and music mogul, is making a significant impact this year as he prepares to celebrate his 32nd birthday.
In an announcement shared on his X handle, Davido revealed that he will donate a remarkable N300 million to support orphanages and a charity dedicated to combating drug abuse among the youth.
This charitable gesture is part of his ongoing commitment to giving back to the community.
The singer, known for his hit songs like Fall and If, emphasized that this donation is intended to aid vulnerable children and provide support for programs that help young people avoid the dangers of drug addiction.
As part of the announcement, he promised to provide further details about the donation in future posts.
This generous act isn’t Davido’s first time using his birthday as an opportunity to give back.
In 2021, during his 29th birthday, he made a notable contribution of N250 million, which he distributed to 292 orphanages across Nigeria.
