Mbappe Calls Vinicius a Great Player After Real Madrid’s 3-0 Victory Over Leganes
Kylian Mbappe, Real Madrid’s star forward, has expressed admiration for his teammate Vinicius Junior, praising the Brazilian winger as an exceptional talent.
According to the French international, the bond he shares with Vinicius both on and off the pitch plays a significant role in their success for the team.
Mbappe’s comments came after a commanding performance in Real Madrid’s 3-0 victory over Leganes in La Liga on Sunday.
The match saw goals from Mbappe himself, the in-form Jude Bellingham, and the versatile Fede Valverde, securing three crucial points for Carlo Ancelotti’s side as they pushed to maintain their dominance in the league.
Speaking to Real Madrid TV, Mbappe highlighted the chemistry between him and Vinicius, saying, “Vini Jr. and I understand each other perfectly.
We complement each other well on the field, and it’s amazing to play alongside someone with his skill and vision.”
He went on to add that their shared desire to win fuels their partnership.
“He’s not just a great player but also someone who works hard for the team.
Together, we’re focused on achieving great things.”
Vinicius Junior, who has been instrumental for Real Madrid since his arrival, has continued to impress with his pace, flair, and ability to break down defenses.
The Brazilian has been pivotal in several key moments this season, often linking up effectively with Mbappe to create scoring opportunities.

Mbappe concluded his remarks with confidence in the team’s ambitions, stating, “We have some of the best players in the world here at Real Madrid, and we’re ready to win many matches and add more trophies to the club’s history.

“Last year, for me, Cubarsí was the best young player in the world. Either the Kopa award or the Ballon d’Or should go to him. There’s no difference between us.
“When I won it, I told him that he would be next. If he doesn’t win it for whatever reason, I will give it to him.”

Footballer Kylian Mbappé shares that he actually came close to signing with Liverpool.
“I was close to Liverpool. My mum was a big fan of Jurgen Klopp, and the favourite destination for my mum was Liverpool. She wanted me to go there,” Mbappé told The Athletic.
“I didn’t listen because I wanted to play in my city, Paris. I didn’t want to leave my country before I was someone. But yes, my mum was always saying, ‘Liverpool — you’re going to be there, playing at Anfield, it’s going to be insane for you.’ I was like, ‘OK!’
“All the time we were talking. ‘What do you think, Mum?’ She’d say, ‘For me, you have to go to Liverpool.’ I said, ‘OK, OK, OK!’ because Jurgen Klopp was an amazing manager. I met him and had a wonderful relationship with him. I had big respect for him.”
