Edochie revealed that this was the second time she had encountered such false reports about Pawpaw, and what upset her even more was that many fans believed the fabricated news and posted condolences in the comment sections.

She pointed out that the spread of these false stories isn’t just limited to Pawpaw but has also affected her personally.

Edochie recalled a previous instance when a photo of her taken on a movie set was misused to fuel a death rumor about her.

“This rumor has surfaced before,” Edochie wrote.

“Just a few days ago, it came up again, with pictures of my great son and veteran colleague Osita Iheme, known as Pawpaw, trending on social media with captions claiming he was dead.

Sadly, many people fell for the fake news and began commenting ‘RIP’ as if it were true.”
