“The Name Has Come to Stay” — Rita Edochie Backs May Yul-Edochie Amid Surname Drama
Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie, expresses her support for May Yul-Edochie keeping her surname despite the divorce.
The actress took to social media to address the debate and comment on Yul’s decision. She expressed her confusion over how the decision is affecting so many people who don’t even know her.
“Ndiala ndiala everywhere. Her name remains Queen May Yul-Edochie even after the divorce because you did not give her the name. Iwe wegi oga, madam see bucket for your tears or better still, go hug transformer. Haters, sleep well oooo because the name has come to stay.”
“Why so much hate for someone that doesn’t even know you exist? Owelu onye melu ibeya bikonu? Pray for your own success, and with God, you will definitely shine in your season.”
Nigerian reality star and actor Adeoluwa Okusaga, also known as Saga, shares that kissing scenes on screen are not something actors actually enjoy.
The actor shared in a recent interview that kissing is usually scripted and often has no real emotion attached to it.
“It is not easy to kiss another actor. It is weird. I have not really had any good onscreen kiss. It is weird having people invade your mouth with saliva.
“It is not something we enjoy. People think we enjoy it, but we don’t. We are just doing it for the story most times. If I had my way, I won’t kiss anyone in a film… There was a day I kissed four different girls on set.”

The singer announced her exit on social media to her fans: “Unfortunately, my last performance on Moulin Rouge! The Musical will be May 1. It’s been such an honor to be part of Moulin Rouge and I’ve met so many amazing people in this theater!”
Many fans expressed disappointment, while others sent her love based on understanding and deemed the breakup unfair to her.
