Salah Makes History with Record-Breaking Performance in Liverpool’s 6-3 Win Over Spurs

Mohamed Salah made history on Sunday following Liverpool’s thrilling 6-3 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.
The Egyptian winger, who was in sensational form, scored twice, helping his side secure a dominant win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
With his brace, Salah set a new Premier League record as the first player in history to reach double figures for both goals and assists before Christmas.
Salah now boasts 18 goals and 14 assists across all competitions for Liverpool, solidifying his place as one of the club’s key players.
After the match, Salah was asked about his record-breaking feat.
He downplayed the significance, stating, “Records? I just keep working hard!
We were quite good in front,” referring to his and his team’s performance in the match.
His humility was evident as he continued, “It’s great to achieve that at such a big club.
Wherever I am going to end my career I am happy about it.”

Liverpool Retire No.20 Shirt to Honour Diogo Jota After His Death in Car Crash

Liverpool have announced they will retire the number 20 shirt in honour of their late forward Diogo Jota. The club confirmed the decision on Thursday, saying the gesture is a lasting tribute to Jota’s impact at Anfield, especially his role in Liverpool’s Premier League triumph last season.
Jota, who passed away at 28 in a tragic car accident in Spain alongside his brother Andre Silva, played a crucial part in the Reds’ 2024–2025 title win, which marked their 20th league crown. One of his most memorable moments came in April, when his signature shimmy and finish secured victory in the Merseyside derby, the final goal of his career.
