Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has opened up about the growing interest from top clubs looking to sign him this summer. Speaking during a chat with Daddy Freeze, the 26-year-old said he’s taking some time off to rest before making any decisions about his future.

Osimhen had an outstanding season on loan at Galatasaray, where he netted 37 goals in all competitions, claimed the Turkish Super Lig Golden Boot, and even won Goal of the Season. Despite turning down a lucrative offer from Saudi side Al-Hilal, big European names like Chelsea, Liverpool, and Juventus are reportedly keeping tabs on him. Galatasaray are also eager to bring him back on a permanent deal.

“When the season ends and the transfer window opens, it’s normal for clubs to show interest,” Osimhen said. “For now, I’m just enjoying my holiday. I’ve been reflecting on last season — watching my goals, going over my mistakes, and appreciating the good moments.”

Paris Saint-Germain boss Luis Enrique has said that every team brings their best when facing his side. He made the comment after PSG’s surprising 1-0 loss to Botafogo in the Club World Cup on Thursday night, a result that ended their unbeaten streak dating back to May 3.

The only goal of the match came in the 36th minute, when Igor Jesus controlled a long ball and slipped it past Gianluigi Donnarumma. Although PSG dominated possession and racked up 16 shots, they struggled to convert chances. Botafogo had just four attempts, but each one was on target, while PSG only managed two on goal.

“Teams always find extra motivation against us,” Enrique said after the match. He admitted that PSG had difficulty breaking down Botafogo’s tight defense and praised the Brazilian side’s overall team effort. “They defend together, attack together. That kind of unity is what makes a team strong, and it’s why they’re so hard to beat,” he added.
